Ashley Canada is seeking a Temporary Merchandising Manager (12-18 month term) to work between both Winnipeg locations.

As a Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Brand’s corporate visual presentation standards at the store level and supporting the corporate marketing department as needed.

As a Merchandising Manager, you will:

• Implement visual presentation direction from the corporate office;
• Support the corporate marketing department in setting up Point of Purchase (POP) displays and other tasks;
• Ensure merchandise displays meet corporate visual standards;
• Maintain the showroom floor according to standards;
• Update open transfer reports to align store flow with corporate direction;
• Manage inventory control related to receiving, tagging, maintaining inventory, and resolving discrepancies;
• Maintain clearance flow within budget;
• Supervise visual team workload (Merchandiser/Porter);
• Prepare and evaluate staff performance;
• Handle recruitment, training, coaching, supervision, and discipline of staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma;
• At least two years of experience in retail visual presentation;
• Strong aptitude for design, balance, and color;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn in-house programs;
• Availability to work retail hours (weekdays, evenings, weekends).
