Job summary

CoolIT Systems Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Test Manager to lead the test team, craft robust test strategies, and drive quality.

You will oversee test system design, collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, and push continuous improvement to support production goals for scalable computer cooling solutions. You will guide test engineers, align on test requirements early, and optimize methods for efficiency and repeatability across facilities, while maintaining

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test fixture design is required.
  • Quality systems knowledge (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to develop and align manufacturing test strategies meeting product, process, and business objectives.
  • Partner with Design Engineering and Product Development to integrate test requirements early in design phases.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations to optimize test systems for scalability and repeatability.
  • Establish feedback loops between test data and quality performance metrics for data-driven decisions.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align test equipment standards and maintenance strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across global or multi-site teams and standardize test practices.
  • Lead and develop test engineers and technicians through goal setting and coaching.
  • Ensure test readiness aligns with production schedules and on-time delivery.
  • Drive integration between test systems, data collection tools, and MES.
  • Develop KPIs to measure test process performance and outcomes.
  • Work with regulatory partners to maintain industry standards and certifications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Manufacturing Test Manager, you will lead the manufacturing test team, developing and implementing robust test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role involves overseeing the design and improvement of test systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in our test operations to meet production goals and quality standards. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in contributing to our scalable computer cooling solutions.

Role

As the Manufacturing Test Manager, you will lead the manufacturing test team, developing and implementing robust test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role involves overseeing the design and improvement of test systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in our test operations to meet production goals and quality standards. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in contributing to our scalable computer cooling solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration to develop and align manufacturing test strategies that meet product, process, and business objectives.
  • Partner with Design Engineering and Product Development to ensure test requirements are integrated early in the design phase and evolve alongside product changes.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure test systems and methods are optimized for scalability, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Engage with Quality Assurance to establish clear feedback loops between test data and quality performance metrics, supporting data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to align on test equipment standards, supplier capabilities, and maintenance support strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across global or multi‑site teams, ensuring consistent test practices and knowledge sharing across facilities.
  • Champion a culture of problem‑solving and continuous improvement, leading collaborative reviews of test yield, reliability trends, and equipment performance.
  • Oversee the performance management and development of test engineers and technicians, including goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a high‑performing and engaged team.
  • Partner with production and planning teams to ensure test readiness aligns with production schedules, supporting on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with automation and software teams to drive integration between test systems, data collection tools, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Develop and monitor KPIs that measure test process performance, team productivity, and contribution to operational and quality goals.
  • Work closely with regulatory and compliance partners to maintain adherence to relevant industry standards and certifications.
  • Promote proactive communication across departments to anticipate test challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure readiness to meet customer delivery timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test fixture design.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and processes (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Preferred).
