About the Opportunity

The Logistics Manager provides leadership in operating a comprehensive Integrated Supply Chain service for NSH, ensuring efficient, high-quality service that complies with policies, aligns with strategic and operational plans, and maintains excellent client relations. The manager participates in facility, zone, and provincial strategic planning, especially regarding pandemic, mass casualty, and hazard responses. This role supports a provincially integrated process and helps lead the design and development of supply chain processes, plans, and policies to support effective, efficient, and sustainable service delivery across NSH.

This position can be based out of Aberdeen Regional, Colchester Regional, Cumberland Regional, or St. Martha's Regional.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field
  • At least five (5) years of management experience overseeing supply chain activities in a large organization (equivalent education and experience considered)
  • Recognized Professional Supply Chain Designation (CPP/SCMP) is an asset
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication, financial, conceptual, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • A solid understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs
  • Experience with IT-driven supply chain systems
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Experience working with healthcare practitioners
  • Language skills, with French being an asset

Hours

- Permanent, Full-time, 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

- $40.95 - $51.19 hourly
