Job Description

This is a maternity leave backfill till July 2026

As the Manager, Lifecycle & Performance Marketing, you will lead a strategic centre of excellence focused on targeted marketing that enhances fan engagement, revenue, and program adoption. You will shape the future of fan marketing at MLSE by developing integrated, data-driven strategies that deliver measurable impact across the fan journey. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, analytics, and business strategy, and who uses insights to drive smarter decisions and engagement.

You will align campaign strategies with MLSE’s commercial goals, optimize performance across channels, and coach a team to scale these capabilities organization-wide. Working cross-functionally, you will define and execute a connected, insight-led approach to lifecycle and performance marketing.

  • Partner with senior leadership to define vision and roadmap for lifecycle and performance marketing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for campaign planning, segmentation, testing, and measurement.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in tools, tactics, and technology to maintain MLSE’s industry leadership.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Product Marketing teams to build audience segments and personas using internal and external data.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve ROI, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Establish best practices for A / B testing, multivariate testing, and performance tracking to refine messaging, creative, and channel mix.
  • Standardize 1 : 1 and performance marketing campaigns across business units and venues, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and impact.
  • Manage the campaign lifecycle from brief to post-analysis, ensuring standards are met.
  • Oversee multi-channel strategies across email, paid media, and CRM platforms, leveraging data for personalization and performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of two, fostering growth and a culture of innovation and curiosity.
  • Work with internal teams (Digital, Brand, BI, Ticketing, Retail, Global Partnerships) and external vendors to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Manage marketing resources, including budget, vendors, and priorities.
  • Provide regular insights and performance updates to senior leadership, including impact analysis and future recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Legal, CRM, and Cyber Security teams to ensure ethical, compliant marketing practices.
