The Opportunity

Lead a high-performing team shaping how Canadians engage with their wealth through compelling, data-informed content strategies that support every stage of their financial journey. As Manager, Lifecycle Content, you’ll oversee a team of marketing professionals focused on driving organic awareness, acquisition, and retention across our emerging lines of business: Fidelity Wealth, Fidelity Private Wealth and Investly. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering content strategies that fuel growth across multiple investor experiences, with a focus on acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Own the annual content strategy including thought leadership, investor education, content calendars, and newsletters across Fidelity’s core and emerging businesses.

  • Drive a full-funnel content strategy that nurtures prospective investors, supports onboarding, and deepens engagement across Investly, Fidelity Wealth and Private Wealth.

  • Develop customer-centric content strategies and assets across video, email, owned channels, and in-product touchpoints that support each stage of the investor lifecycle.

  • Define success metrics and analyze performance of content strategies to assess impact and optimize future campaigns.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team that aligns with Fidelity’s values and that collaborates well in cross-functional environments with product, sales, compliance, and marketing.

  • Maintain accountabilities for all published content, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant.

  • Responsible for executing against the annual business plan and budget.

  • Responsible for ensuring your team maintains compliance with communication policies, procedures, and brand standards through reviewing, editing, and approving all marketing material and sales communications produced by your team.

  • Vendor relationship administration and support.

What You Will Bring

  • Have a deep working knowledge of the financial services industry with a solid understanding of wealth management and personal finance (registered account types, tax, estate planning, retirement).

  • Strong knowledge of emerging content platforms with the ability to deliver UX writing for the web, mobile, email and SMS.

  • Exceptional communicator who can leverage data to identify themes, build a narrative and secure buy-in from senior management.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors to ensure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are maintained.

  • Ability to provide strategic direction and coaching across multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, changing focus and priorities as needed.

  • Proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders up, down, and across the organization.

  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis on bringing together multiple stakeholders and driving towards a common goal under specified timelines.

  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on developing and leveraging the capabilities of a high-performing team.

Experience, Education

  • University degree (Bachelor Degree) or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing or communications function with 3 years of experience leading and growing a high performing marketing team.

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related discipline.

  • Experience working within the asset management industry or similar financial services organization.
