Our Enterprise Solutions Practice are seeking a dynamic ITOM Architect/Team Lead for our ServiceNow team nationally. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for service management and automation, hands-on experience with technology, strong communication skills, able to see the big picture and fit with our culture.


What you will do

As a ServiceNow ITOM Architect/Team Lead in our ServiceNow practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team. You’ll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by:

  • Design and implement comprehensive ITOM solutions, including the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
  • Facilitate the integration of ServiceNow ITOM with various IT systems and tools to promote seamless data flow and enhance process automation.
  • Establish and implement best practices for ITOM processes and configurations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
    Develop your coaching and feedback skills by providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to your team while supporting our Open Feedback culture.
  • Support timely engagement management, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery of client deliverables.
    Assist in client pursuits and proposal development with support from Senior Leadership, collaborating with KPMG leaders to develop thought leadership, white papers, and other intellectual assets.
  • Work with clients to assess current-state processes and tools, define ServiceNow requirements, and develop and configure the ServiceNow platform.
  • Support the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow installation, including managing system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, developing workflow customizations, and performing quality assurance testing.
  • Lead ServiceNow implementation engagement projects.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMDB/ITOM ServiceNow configuration and development.
  • ServiceNow Certifications: CIS-ITOM.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITOM modules, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-premise/cloud infrastructure and network environments will be strongly considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical and functional issues.
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports and the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role with both technical and functional stakeholders, demonstrating strong relationship management skills and a passion for client satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop workshop presentations and process documentation (advanced skills in Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experience. A Master's in Information Systems, MBA, or other related fields is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written, will be strongly considered.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is$101,000 to $127,000and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
