Position Summary:

The Manager of Information Technology Relations/Privacy Compliance oversees the implementation, integration, and management of Information Management, Digital Health, and Privacy Compliance at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare. This role ensures these systems meet HDGH needs, enhance patient care, and comply with governance and privacy standards. The Manager collaborates with the Chief Privacy Information Officer & TransForm, our shared service organization, to align strategies across five hospitals in the region, addressing system issues, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include overseeing the Privacy Management & Compliance/Auditing Program, ensuring adherence to PHIPA regulations, and supporting the development and maintenance of HDGH's Privacy Program, including risk assessments, policy creation, training, incident response, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information / Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of hospital experience in clinical informatics, health information management, or a related technology or leadership role.
  • Cybersecurity and/or Data Governance experience preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems – Canada (CPHIMS-CA) preferred.
  • IAPP Privacy Designation (CIPP/C, CIPM, CIT, FIP) preferred.
