Ocean Capital has a new opportunity for a Manager- Human Capital Management System. This position reports to the Senior Manager Systems and Data Analysis and will lead the support and implementations for HCM application and operational reporting across the organization working closely with the HR and Payroll teams.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Oracle HCM System operations
  • Liaise with HCM Governance Committee to assist in strategic outlook and decisions of the HR system
  • Lead direct reports to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal achievement
  • Document processes and procedures as required
  • Lead projects from a technical perspective and coordinate technical resources
  • Solicit and refine reporting requirements from business users
  • Manage HCM operational reporting including the development and testing of new reports and the enhancement and break fix of exiting reports
  • Set service levels, agree on them with customers, ensure they are met
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Liaise with project teams to assist in defining requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Create, align, and distribute policies and procedures for the PMO

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in implementing or administering enterprise level systems. Preference to experience with Oracle Cloud or major HCM systems.
  • Post-secondary education, bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Business, Computer Science or related field. Combination of other education and experience will be considered.

  • Exceptional task management with proven ability to meet deliverables in a complex multi-system environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and develop others
  • Excellent written or verbal communication skills to create effective functional and technical documentation and/or end-user training materials as required
  • Understanding of system administration best practices.
  • Working knowledge of integration architecture and integration design.
  • Continuous improvement and process documentation
