A leading energy company located in Canada is seeking a Manager, Health & Safety – Major Projects to oversee Health & Safety matters across its Major Projects portfolio. The incumbent will lead a team of Senior Advisors, establish strategic goals, and ensure compliance with safety legislation to drive a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in H&S within the oil & gas sector and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Manager, Health & Safety – Major Projects is a field-based leadership role responsible for providing both technical and functional guidance on all Health & Safety (H&S) matters across the Major Projects portfolio in Western Canada and the United States. This role plays a key part in driving a strong safety culture by championing the implementation and continuous improvement of H&S processes aligned with Cenovus’s Operational Integrity Management System (COIMS). The incumbent will ensure compliance with all applicable Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) legislation and industry best practices, helping to safeguard workers and support the successful execution of Major Projects.
