The Department of Health has an opening for the Manager of Fee-for-Service with the Medicare & Physician Services Branch in Fredericton. Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing operational and team management to various units.
  2. Developing and monitoring deliverables, making operational decisions, and planning programs/services.
  3. Analyzing trends, conducting policy and physician remuneration research, and developing recommendations for projects and initiatives.
  4. Advising staff and stakeholders on the Physicians Master Agreement and billing rules.
  5. Participating in productivity planning, recruitment, and staff development.
  6. Handling physician billing inquiries, payment decisions, and claims assessments.
  7. Organizing departmental presentations and participating in committees and working groups.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Coursework in Medical Terminology preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience, including 2 years managing employees.
  • Fluency in English and French required.
Asset Qualifications
