About the Opportunity
Collaborate with cross-functional groups (e.g., finance, risk, reporting) to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful data informs credit portfolio decisions
Act as a bridge between credit portfolio managers and internal stakeholders to translate investment activity into aligned reporting and accounting outputs
Own the integrity of the quarterly reporting lifecycle by proactively identifying and addressing data or reconciliation issues
Support the monitoring and governance of investment inputs and data quality, working closely with internal risk teams
Represent the credit operations function in enterprise-wide initiatives, including system rollouts, onboarding of new instruments or strategies, and process improvement projects
Develop and refine dashboards and performance indicators that surface trends, flag inefficiencies, and support data-driven decision making
Champion continuous improvement efforts across credit operations, focusing on automation, documentation, and simplification
Maintain trusted relationships with internal investment staff and external partners to resolve issues, share insight, and ensure operational alignment
Serve as the operational point person for budgeting and risk tracking, coordinating with internal teams to highlight risks and recommend mitigations
Provide clear, strategic input to leadership on emerging risks and opportunities within the investment operations function
Systematically document operational procedures and lessons learned to preserve institutional knowledge and support team learning
Share expertise through mentoring, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at upskilling colleagues
Ensure key documentation and internal knowledge hubs are current, organized, and accessible to all relevant team members
Actively foster a team culture grounded in open communication, cross-functional learning, and shared problem-solving
Independently analyze disparate data sources to draw insights that support investment decision-making and operational integrity
Apply tools and systems expertise to automate high-volume or manual reconciliation tasks
About You
Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline
Over a decade of experience across investment operations, asset management, consulting, or financial services
Hands-on knowledge of credit investing, particularly in private and public market structures
Previous exposure to middle- or back-office environments is highly valuable
Holding (or in pursuit of) a recognized professional credential (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBV) is an asset
Strong command of financial analysis, accounting principles, and operational risk
Skilled at navigating complex cross-team initiatives and building consensus among technical and business leaders
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and resolve competing priorities effectively
Clear communicator with a talent for simplifying complex issues and facilitating stakeholder alignment
Known for practical problem-solving, attention to detail, and delivery under pressure
Embraces a collaborative, “shared success” mindset and takes initiative to improve both team and organizational outcomes
