Job summary

Aplin is seeking an entrepreneurial finance leader to build a modern FP&A function across North America, driving reporting improvements, decision support, and scalable processes. You’ll shape how finance supports growth by implementing new systems and partnering with senior leadership.

You'll design budgeting, forecasting, and dashboards, lead a major ERP implementation, and collaborate with operational leaders to drive performance and profitability across multi-entity organizations.

Qualifications

• Progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or business transformation experience.
• Experience designing planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Hands-on ERP implementation experience.
• Strong financial modelling and Power BI skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate financial information into insights.
• Experience supporting multi-entity organizations is a plus.

As the business continues to expand, they're looking for an entrepreneurial finance leader to help build a modern FP&A function while driving key transformation initiatives across the business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll help shape how finance supports the organization by improving reporting, strengthening decision-making, implementing new systems, and developing scalable processes that support continued growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and establishing the company's FP&A function.

What We're Looking For

• CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar professional designation.
• Progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business transformation.
• Experience developing planning, budgeting, reporting, or analytical processes.
• Hands-on ERP implementation experience.
• Strong financial modelling and Power BI (or similar analytics) skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
• Experience supporting project-based, industrial, or multi-entity organizations is considered an asset.
