Position Title: Manager, Finance Analytics
What you will be doing:
- The Manager, Finance Analytics will work closely with the Senior Manager, Finance Analytics to facilitate and support the Financial Systems side of the Financial Processing, Reporting & Systems in Technology Finance ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed/delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
- Lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Provide expertise on the configuration of the Technology Finance Executive Dashboards and Reports and is responsible for all end-to-end system development on the team's Power BI reporting to build better operations/processes, financial dashboards, and insightful reports.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of new systems, system enhancements, and sources or uses of management information systems.
- Lead the support of system operations, production, administration, and maintenance for assigned IT&S and IT&S Finance systems.
- Act as a partner in driving process improvement and reporting capabilities across Technology Finance through the use of automation and leveraging available data/systems.
- Oversee the efficient and accurate delivery of data processing and data management support for Technology Finance applications, while ensuring the efficient and timely generation of accurate reporting.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Create an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk.
- Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Proficiency in programming with MS SQL Server (SSIS and SQL), or related applications.
- Proficiency in ETL development, process, and support.
- Proficiency in Data modeling and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Power BI report and dashboard development, and data modeling.
- Working knowledge of data architecture and design, with a strong understanding of relational and OLAP databases.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel Macro VBA is a plus.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills; confident communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and gain buy-in.
- University degree or related financial services experience (5 years+).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects through effective prioritization.
- Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to work with incomplete data and develop creative approaches to make immediate progress while implementing longer-term solutions.
- Strong team player, relationship builder.
- Confident facilitator with a senior audience.
- Results-focused.
