The
Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible to lead our budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis efforts within a manufacturing environment. This position directly supports the production and strategic growth of ground support products for the mining. You will play a critical role in aligning financial plans with operational priorities and providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across manufacturing and support functions
- Develop long-term financial models and scenario planning for capital-intensive operations
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards using data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Support performance tracking and KPIs for product groups and plant operations
- Conduct variance analysis, cost reviews, and margin improvement initiatives
- Deliver high-quality reporting and investment analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Champion financial data integrity and governance in ERP and reporting systems
Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA designation, MBA an asset.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting, or business analysis.
- Strong command of financial modeling, budgeting systems, and ERP/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Jet Reports, Business Central).
- Familiarity with enterprise data modeling, reporting architecture, and OData/API integration.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, preferably in ground support products or industrial goods.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical rigor.
