The Manager, FP&A for Marmon Crane Services will play a key role in reporting and analyzing financial results, leading initiatives to enhance the capture and presentation of financial and operational data/KPIs for business units and leadership teams. Responsibilities will include policy creation, system/process standardization, and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions

  1. Coordinate monthly and periodic group key deliverables for timely and accurate completion.
  2. Analyze and present results to management, including recommendations.
  3. Review Authorities for Expenditures (AFEs).
  4. Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
  5. Develop, improve, and communicate financial standards and policies.
  6. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  7. Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly projections.
  8. Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership meetings.
  9. Support strategic initiatives and projects.
  10. Ensure compliance with group financial/control policies across the organization.
  11. Conduct market and industry research and compile relevant information.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a focus on continuous process improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, commerce, or related field.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance or analysis.
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI) is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
