Scope

The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a key contributor to the organization’s financial success, responsible for driving effective planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across a mid‑size multinational company. This role partners closely with business leaders and senior management across Finance and operational functions and plays a critical role in providing financial insights, supporting strategic decision‑making, and ensuring that financial plans and forecasts align with business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial reporting and analysis activities including period and quarterly reporting of balance sheets, income statements and cash flows for both performance and non‑performance entities, including consolidated financial statements, notes, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate and prepare the yearly budgets for all legal entities.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Lead monthly reporting and consolidation process.
  • Leverage new analysis and presentation tools to simplify the presentation of complex information.
  • Coordinate, prepare and review management and cost‑center reporting.
  • Establish relationships and communicate effectively across a variety of departments, at all levels within the organization.
  • Provide insightful interpretation of key business drivers underlying the business results, highlight key issues and make appropriate recommendations where required.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the Finance team and ensure ongoing communication with the broader Finance management team on status, progress of projects, issues, and points of interest that are relevant to the team or individuals.
  • Provide timely and constructive development feedback including holding regular check‑ins, team meetings, and preparation and delivery of mid‑year and year‑end performance evaluations.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc financial, accounting, and capital analysis as required.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of progressive financial management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a post‑designation leadership role.
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) and a university degree required; MBA considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting, internal controls, and audit practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing high‑quality reporting packages for executive leadership.
  • Proven hands‑on leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑currency, and multinational environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Prior experience managing and developing a small team.
