Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Manager, Finance, Workday Consulting Bilingual (FR/EN), you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Lead the implementation of Workday Finance solutions, achieve successful project delivery, uphold quality standards, and refine financial processes to benefit clients
  2. Utilize knowledge in Workday to drive process improvements
  3. Guide teams in strategic planning and execution and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  4. Analyze detailed finance & accounting, including payroll accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities in areas such as operational accounting (AP, AR, Cash, WIP, Payroll), period close and consolidation, fixed asset management, finance integrations, and accounting center
  5. Reporting and analytics: operational, finance, and HR reporting
  6. Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as manage work streams of complex projects to implement improvements
  7. Identify and address client needs: actively participate in client discussions and meetings; manage engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents; balance project economics management with unanticipated issues
  8. Contribute to innovation initiatives to support modernization of finance functions powered by Workday
  9. Utilize PC applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), data analysis and visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI)

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or higher-level studies in accounting and financial management preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Preferred experience with ERP systems solutions, including Workday, SAP, Oracle
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working with diverse perspectives
  • Consulting experience with record to report functions via system implementation
  • Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications in finance transformation and financial systems optimization
  • Effective communication skills with diverse individuals at various organizational levels
  • Fluency in French required for Quebec-based opportunities; outside Quebec, it’s an asset

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range* for this position is $103,000 - $137,400 - $171,800 CAD annually, plus potential annual bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
