We are currently recruiting a passionate, strategic leader who is self-motivated and goal-oriented for the position of District Sales Manager, BC. The Role :

The District Sales Manager, BC is responsible for implementing the organization’s sales strategy by coaching and developing the BC sales execution team and overseeing all aspects of execution. They will ensure that their representatives are set up for success across all channels: on-premise and retail.

The primary objective is to coach and lead field sales representatives toward profitable growth. They will work closely with each rep to ensure a strong understanding of the strategy, customer insights, and the ability to execute the business’s strategic needs.

What you will be doing :
  1. Lead a sales team; coaching and developing them to foster trust, accountability, openness, and a results-driven culture.
  2. Manage communication flow to the sales force through meetings, emails, calls, and texts.
  3. Plan, develop, and execute the sales strategy.
  4. Work with sales reps to ensure profitable growth in their territories.
  5. Ensure the team is proficient in using reporting tools such as Salesforce and Concur.
  6. Manage budgets effectively to grow territories.
  7. Develop and implement annual territory and customer development plans.
  8. Share tactics to achieve profitable customer growth.
  9. Track and assess results, sharing insights internally.
  10. Create and deliver quarterly presentations aligning sales execution with strategy.
  11. Review account coverage and service models regularly to meet business objectives.
  12. Collaborate with Key Account Managers to support team success across retail customers.
  13. Manage T&E budgets effectively.
  14. Communicate market dynamics, competitive pressures, and promotional results internally.
What you bring :
  1. A university degree or comparable qualification, preferably in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  2. Proven success in a similar role.
  3. Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is an asset.
  4. WSET or ISG certification is an asset.
  5. Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of BC’s beverage alcohol industry.
  6. Proven sales and negotiation skills or certification.
  7. Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Problem-solving skills with effective customer and peer interaction.
  10. Results-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, and driven.
  11. Computer literacy, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and web tools.
  12. Valid driver’s license.
  13. Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry.
  14. Ability to lift wine cases weighing up to 45 pounds.

Compensation : Budgeted range: $81,632.00 - $105,642.00. This range considers experience, education, licenses, certifications, and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards at Arterra.
