Manager, Field Accounting & Operations, Canadian Commercial Banking

Purpose

This role manages the client accounting function for Roynat Capital by supervising the field accounting team to ensure client accounts are maintained accurately, completely, and timely.

Roynat Capital provides customized financing solutions to mid-sized growth companies in Canada, including complex client accounting on portfolio loan and investment systems developed in-house.

Accountabilities

• Lead a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank resources.
• Manage client accounting by supervising the field team, designing and testing internal controls, and overseeing daily disbursements, billing, amendments, and collections.
• Ensure timely preparation of portfolio and client reports.
• Safeguard and properly record share certificates, warrants, and related documents.
• Participate in system and process improvements, including designing specifications and assisting with implementation.
• Maintain organized files and reports according to standards.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with security standards.
• Participate in special projects and understand risk considerations in daily activities.
• Create an environment of effective operations aligned with bank values and controls.
• Build a high-performance team through inclusive leadership, coaching, and development planning.
