Red Deer Polytechnic seeks a Manager, Facility & Campus Space Planning Management to lead strategic space planning, governance, and utilization across the campus. You will translate enrolment growth, program delivery, and accessibility needs into actionable space plans and budgeting analyses.
You will lead a cross-disciplinary team, develop standards, governance processes, and reporting to enable data-informed decisions and efficient space use aligned with RDP’s 2030 Strategy.
Position Title Manager, Facility & Campus Space Planning Management
Position Summary
The Facility & Campus Space Planning Manager is responsible for leading Red Deer Polytechnic’s institutional space planning, governance, and utilization functions. The role ensures campus space is strategically planned, allocated, and optimized to support academic programming, research, student services, and administrative operations.
Reporting to the Director, Campus Management, the Lead provides leadership to the Facility Space Planning team and is accountable for establishing space standards, governance processes, and planning frameworks that support transparent, data-informed decision-making. The position translates institutional priorities—including enrolment growth, program delivery, and accessibility requirements—into actionable space planning strategies, recommendations, and implementation plans.
This role requires a highly analytical and strategic leader with strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and planning expertise. The Manager plays a key role in enabling efficient use of institutional space and will play a key role in enhancing RDP’s Campus Management capacity and supporting the institution’s commitment the outcomes of RDP’s 2030 Strategic Plan.
Position Responsibilities
Salary $94,625 - $115,019
