The Manager, Facilities & Security leads the integrated delivery of facilities operations, building systems, physical security, fire/life safety, and related service programs across Libro Credit Union's Eastern Division. The role maintains safe, secure, and serviceable workplaces; protects people, assets, information, and brand reputation; oversees key vendor and tenant relationships; and provides practical leadership to support member service excellence, operational resilience, cost stewardship, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this position manages a diverse portfolio of 23 branch locations and a multi-storey administrative building, providing strategic leadership for facilities maintenance, capital improvements, security programs, vendor performance, and operational compliance. The Manager partners closely with business leaders, property stakeholders, and external service providers to support business continuity, member service excellence, operational resilience, and cost-effective service delivery.
As part of a collaborative team, the Manager works closely with the Manager, Facilities & Security (West) to ensure consistent service standards, policy implementation, and operational practices across Libro's enterprise-wide facilities portfolio. The role provides cross-functional support and leadership during projects, emergency response situations, business continuity events, and organizational initiatives, helping to deliver a seamless facilities and security program across all Libro locations.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a geographically dispersed portfolio, manage significant vendor relationships, capital investments, and contribute to the evolution of facilities and security services within one of Ontario's largest credit unions.
