You will ensure all regulatory requirements are met and maintained as it pertains to the facility. You will also plan and lead the facilities operations budget and provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the maintenance team ensuring facilities are operational to provide the best level of service for our customers.As Manager, Facilities Maintenance you will:Develop, monitor, and review the preventative maintenance program including frequency, planned hours, job tasks, and routes and make adjustmentMonitor work program (PM’s, CM’s, DM’s) ensuring planned work is completedReview and plan corrective maintenance work and customer requestsEnsure safe work procedures are in place specific to our program and for use by our internal workforce (JSA's)Lead all aspects of processes or procedures related to the maintenance of certain assetsProvide tools and equipment to support the workParticipate in the design and planning processes for new builds or renovationsAct as the point of contact for general maintenance requests, concerns and communicate the impact of work to affected partnersLead people by providing coaching, guidance and development by providing relevant feedback for personal and career growthHandle contracts including renewals, funding requests, new RFPSMaintain relationships with external vendors and partners and deal with performance issues, including direct contracts and partnerships (i. e. UP Express)This is the role for you, if you have:High School Diploma and/or post-secondary education or certification in facilities management (i. e FMA, MMP, CFM, BOMI or equivalent)Facilities or Maintenance Management experience3 + years of experience in People Management (direct report or cross-functional) in a unionized environmentDemonstrated experience working in a customer centric environmentValid Ontario 'G' Class Driver's LicenseAbility to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the positionThe GTAA is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive
