Term Duration: 15 months

Salary Range: $117,887 - $159,495 (plus performance-based incentives)

We are seeking a leader with expertise at the intersection of finance and sustainability. Sustainability involves meeting current needs while preserving the ability of future generations to meet theirs, aligning with FCC's values.

Your team will help lending teams incorporate sustainability considerations into their deals—identifying opportunities and risks—and build capacity within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Support business units in integrating sustainability into their processes
  • Assess environmental and social risks of each business and recommend loan structures
  • Evaluate deals for alignment with FCC’s strategy and impact in the Canadian agriculture and food industry
  • Draft submissions for reviews, compliance, and eligibility efficiently and thoroughly
  • Participate in all transaction stages, liaising between Credit and other teams
  • Contribute to policy and process improvements for sustainability integration
  • Engage with external industry players and internal teams to embed sustainability practices
  • Collaborate on developing FCC’s sustainability-related strategies and initiatives
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership with a collaborative approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with interest in agriculture industry
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, finance, agriculture, or related field, plus 8+ years of experience or equivalent
  • Experience applying sustainability practically within financial or agricultural organizations
  • Experience integrating non-credit risks and sustainability into lending and stakeholder engagement
  • Graduate degree or certifications (SASB, CFA, CBV, ESG, GARP SCR) are advantageous
