The opportunity

As an Assurance Manager in our Enterprise team, you will deliver specialized accounting and review services (including review engagements, notices to reader, and taxes) to small businesses and individuals.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan and manage Notice to Reader and Review Engagements, including tax filings
• Prepare client-specific deliverables
• Supervise engagement teams and review their work
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Understand client industries and key performance drivers
• Stay informed on economic developments affecting clients
• Share knowledge and enhance service delivery through continuous learning
• Participate in training to develop skills
• Collaborate with other EY teams to foster relationships

Minimum qualifications

• CPA designation preferred
• 5-7 years relevant experience in public accounting
• Extensive knowledge of financial accounting and ASPE Standards
• Understanding of business concepts for privately owned businesses
• Strong tax knowledge (personal and corporate)
• Proficiency with Taxprep, Caseware, Quickbooks, Sage; experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to client service
• Ability to lead teams and manage engagement profitability
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision

Preferred additional skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
