GEMTEC is a growing firm with offices throughout Atlantic Canada and in Ontario, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Practice Lead (Engineer, Scientist or Project Manager) and Branch Manager to join our Team. We strive to have employees that are multi-faceted and versatile with a strong sense of collaboration and values-based ideals.We are seeking a full-time Senior Leader and Branch Manager to spearhead our operations in Southwest Ontario; office location to be determined with preference to London and Windsor.The successful candidate will have the following:Educational & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil / environmental engineering or science degree from an accredited institution; or Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.Registered Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., C.E.T.), with 15+ years of experience in an engineering / science consulting environment.A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, multidisciplinaryAbility to present technical information, both written and verbally, in a concise and professional manner.Summary of Main Duties:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:Oversees the day-to-day operations of the new office in southwest Ontario, including the supervision and mentoring of office and field staff.Develops and fosters Client relationships with a service excellence mindsetLead and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies to optimize performance and mitigate challenges.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive efficiency and technical excellence.Responsible for project management including invoicing, budgeting, scheduling, and managing scope of work.Develops, reviews, and signs proposals, reports, client contracts, and sub-contracts in accordance with company policies.Recruits and trains new staff as required for growth.Identifies new market opportunities and undertakes targeted business development initiatives (i.e., client development, market meet-and-greet functions, etc.).Responsible for the day-to-day office management needs, including office administration, budget planning and forecasting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), performance and salary reviews, etc.Adhering to all company policies.Other duties as required.Position:Full time (37.5 hours per week)/ Contract/ Part-timeComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.Interested individuals, click here to apply: https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/237 Thank you for taking the time to consider GEMTEC.
