The Role: Engineering Manager (Integrations & Features)
We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead two high-performing teams to deliver integrations and new customer features. You’ll oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture through deployment, while still getting into the code when it matters.
This role gives you the chance to own critical system components and directly influence customer experience and platform stability. You’ll collaborate with passionate engineers, product managers, and leadership, and see the results of your work in delivering scalable, high-quality software.
What You’ll Be Doing (and Crushing)
People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and conduct 1:1s and performance reviews. Cultivate team morale, engagement, and professional growth.
Project & Delivery Management: Drive execution of roadmaps, coordinate sprint planning, remove obstacles, and ensure on-time, high-quality software delivery.
Development Practices & Automation: Define and enforce scalable architecture standards, oversee design reviews, and champion technical excellence across both teams.
Hands-On Coding: Jump into Python or C# on the back-end and TypeScript or React on the front-end to unblock critical issues, prototype new features, and set a high bar through code reviews.
Change Leadership: Drive continuous improvement by leading through change, influencing stakeholders, and motivating teams to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment.
What You Bring to the Table
Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams, hiring top talent, and developing high-performing squads.
Technical Versatility: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, and comfortable navigating Azure or AWS.
Cloud & DevOps Savvy: Familiar with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
Agile Maestro: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD environments.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to deliver features end-to-end in an Agile environment, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
Excellent Communicator: Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, influence product and design partners and report progress to senior leadership.
Startup Battle Scars: Thrived in fast-paced, high-growth environments and remain unfazed by ambiguity or shifting priorities.
