The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading Engineering team to success and alignment within Dome Productions remote operations. This position requires strong leadership attributes with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and motivate staff toward action and achieving goals.
The Engineering Manager has accountability for all aspects of the remote engineering group in support of Dome’s goals and customer expectations. The manager will be responsible for all staffing requirements related to the field engineers including overseeing schedules, adhering to operational budget and managing performance standards for the group. They will be an active participant on the business strategy team and will provide input critical to promoting advanced development efforts.
Working with Operations and other departments, you will lead a team of remote broadcast engineers in the daily support of event and content production, including mobile trucks, studios, control rooms, remote content acquisition, streaming playout systems, maintenance, remote sites, uplink systems and encoding,
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
