Role Overview

The OCPI & eMSP Operations team is a specialist group within ChargePoint, focusing on roaming partnerships, integrations, and products. We operate one of the largest roaming networks globally, with over 800,000 ports and hundreds of partners, ensuring a seamless experience for drivers.

This role will be instrumental in expanding our technical operations in North America. Responsibilities include managing support cases, building robust API-based processes, and potentially leading a small team over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • L2 and L3 technical support, issue triaging, and deep analysis.
  • Monitoring systems, managing alerts, and incident communication.
  • Creating and managing bug / incident ingestion and triage processes.
  • Maintaining a partner support portal for issue resolution.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining internal knowledge bases.
  • Collaborating on incident root cause analyses.
  • Communicating with partners and stakeholders via calls, email, or Jira.
  • Configuring and updating API integrations with partners.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of public charging APIs and related products.
  • Customer-centric problem-solving skills.
  • Educational background in technical fields preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Excel; experience with Snowflake, Tableau, Grafana, Kibana is a plus.
  • 3-5 years in B2B technical roles, ideally in SaaS, automotive, energy, or Cleantech sectors.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • Understanding of SQL databases and software systems.
  • Interest in e-mobility and sustainability.
  • Problem-solving passion, analytical mindset, and willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Experience with open-source API protocols like OCPP or OCPI is advantageous.
