Responsibilities:
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Manager, Eastlink Community TV will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and programming requirements for Eastlink Community TV’s community television network in Ontario. They will oversee production content with an emphasis on increasing the amount of live/taped non-repeat programming year over year, with a focus on diversity and gender equity. They will deliver high-quality programming that supports corporate goals and will work closely with the creative and marketing departments to deliver assets for awareness and promotion of programs. This role will prepare monthly activity reports, monitor budgets, and manage staffing hours according to guidelines, while overseeing various projects and initiatives as required. Additionally, the Manager fosters positive working relationships within the programming department, media partners, community leaders, volunteers, and elected officials to develop effective, local, and access programming opportunities. A key part of this position is managing partnerships with local sports organizations, Councils, Bingos, Church groups, and other community event opportunities. This role is a member of the community programming department management team.
