Dalhousie University is seeking a Manager for Distributed Education in the Faculty of Medicine. This role involves overseeing the administration of medical education programs, ensuring effective operations and compliance, and fostering partnerships with rural communities. The successful candidate will work primarily remotely but must be available for travel within Nova Scotia.
This is a provisional classification. Formal regular review classification procedures may be initiated at any time by the incumbent or supervisor after the incumbent has worked a minimum of six months in the role.

The Faculty of Medicine inspires and enables excellence in health care through its medical education and research programs, and by serving and engaging society. Reporting jointly to the Assistant Dean, Distributed Education, and the Executive Director of Operations, the Manager, Distributed Education, is responsible for the operational management and administration of Dalhousie’s Faculty of Medicine distributed education initiatives.
Note: The successful applicant will primarily work remotely, with occasional in-person presence on campus to meet client needs and operational requirements.
Additional Note: This position supports the delivery of medical education in rural and regional areas across Nova Scotia. The successful applicant is expected to be available to travel to various rural communities within Nova Scotia. Preference will be given to candidates with lived experience in rural communities within Nova Scotia.
