OVERVIEW:

As the successful candidate, you will lead the transformation of our digital workplace by developing and implementing user-centric strategies that enhance productivity, collaboration, and employee engagement through modern technology platforms. You will enable frictionless communication and collaboration, foster best practices for content and knowledge management, and improve personal productivity across devices and applications. Your role focuses on workplace collaboration, productivity and communications, and workplace automation while driving adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies, enabling citizen development, and establishing a Center of Excellence to support our organization's digital transformation journey

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive technology adoption and collaboration strategies to enhance productivity and employee engagement across the organization, placing the employee at the center of intuitive, user-centric digital workplace solutions.

  • Lead workplace collaboration initiatives including document sharing and co-authoring experiences, real-time and near-real-time communication, and team content collaboration workspaces that reduce collaborative friction in hybrid work environments.

  • Drive workplace productivity and communications optimization through email, calendar, chat and messaging, videoconferencing, and task management, ensuring seamless communication across all devices and locations.

  • Promote and educate business areas on workplace automation opportunities through low-code applications and workflow tools, helping users identify processes that can be streamlined and connecting them with appropriate automation resources.

  • Work with our Learning & Development team along with the I&O IT teams to progress the adoption and integration of Microsoft 365 technologies including MS Teams, Viva, MS Planner, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Copilot, ensuring alignment with business goals and staying current with emerging productivity and collaboration technologies including generative AI capabilities.

  • Guide and collaborate with technical teams responsible for meeting room technology integration and optimization, ensuring seamless collaboration across distributed teams through technologies such as video conferencing, digital whiteboarding, and interactive displays.

  • In partnership with our Learning & Development team, design and deliver enterprise training programs , focusing on M365 tools, M365 Copilot, and Power Platform capabilities, while coordinating monthly Power BI training sessions through vendor partnerships.

  • Enable data literacy and data enablement initiatives (inclusive of data, AI, and Digital Workplace) across the organization, including education on data products, ownership, and governance principles while supporting integration with large language models and generative AI.

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for establishing a Center of Excellence (COE) that includes organized support hours, assistance intake processes, and regular presentations to support business users in achieving improved digital skills and productivity.

  • Lead change management initiatives and evangelize digital workplace innovations by introducing new technologies and practices that improve the digital work environment, ensuring smooth transitions to new digital processes while maintaining security and compliance standards.

  • Work closely with Learning & Development, Human Resources, Communications, IT, and other key internal and external stakeholders to create a cohesive technology adoption and collaboration strategy, while monitoring and communicating new features in Microsoft 365 and Azure that could benefit organizational productivity.

  • Foster a positive work culture that inspires high productivity and supportive, cohesive teamwork, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for team members to do their best work.

  • Build and maintain effective and trusted relationships with customers, peers, and vendors.

  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the entire portfolio.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on a regular basis.

  • Demonstrate commitment to team member development with regular performance discussions, supporting training opportunities, and identifying areas for growth.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • A related technical degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, with focus on digital transformation or change management.

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience in digital workplace transformation, technology adoption, or business process improvement, preferably in a large organization.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Viva, and Copilot technologies, with understanding of workplace collaboration, productivity and communications, and workplace automation principles.

  • Deep understanding of digital workplace architecture principles including user-centric design, scalability and flexibility, integration and composability, and security and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with workplace collaboration components including document sharing and co-authoring, real-time and near-real-time communication, and team content collaboration workspaces.

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering enterprise training programs and change management initiatives.

  • Strong background in data literacy, analytics, and enabling citizen development across business units, with experience in low-code applications and workflow automation solutions.

  • Knowledge of content and knowledge management throughout the content lifecycle, including business records management, retention policies, and integration with generative AI.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business needs and translate them into technology solutions.

  • Experience establishing and managing Centers of Excellence or similar support structures.

  • Proven track record in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Knowledge of modern workplace technologies including cloud platforms, collaboration tools, automation solutions, and emerging technologies such as generative AI assistants and intelligent content processing.

  • Experience with meeting room technologies, video conferencing systems, digital whiteboarding solutions, and their integration with collaboration platforms to enable seamless hybrid work experiences.

  • Experience with training program development, vendor management, and measuring training effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated strength in planning, organizing, and managing work, including delegation.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to convey pertinent information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A high degree of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and an understanding of what factors can impact both people and business.

  • Ability to stay current with rapidly evolving technology trends and assess their business impact.

  • Strong leadership and evangelism skills with the ability to drive organizational change and technology adoption.

  • Experience working in regulated industries or healthcare environments is preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or change management would be beneficial.
