Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Mississauga is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineering leader to drive a high-performing team and own a portfolio of applications and DevOps capabilities. You will shape delivery, operations, and continuous improvement aligned to business goals.

You will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security and Product to ensure predictable releases, reliable environments, and proactive incident management, with a focus on automation and scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud platforms.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams and developing engineers into technical leaders.
• Working knowledge of Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Build, coach and develop a high-performing engineering team with clear expectations for ownership and excellence.
• Independently own a portfolio of applications, platforms and DevOps capabilities, including commitments, delivery, operations and improvements.
• Partner with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture and Product to deliver business goals across boundaries.
• Translate strategy into clear plans, accountable owners, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Improve reliability through monitoring, capacity planning, backup, recovery and operational readiness.
