About the Team

As part of the Office of the President, Integrated Delivery is a centralized function, partnering with the business to prioritize, implement, and sustain Canada’s top strategic priorities. Our success comes from our ability to provide program and change management experience while quickly standing up routines, proactively monitoring and executing initiatives, and acting as a single point of contact.

About the Role

In this Program Manager role, you will be on an exciting journey to drive delivery of highly complex programs that contribute to Canada’s strategic goals and improve the experiences of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  1. Leading program planning including scope, objectives, timelines, and governance
  2. Documenting and maintaining key program artifacts such as dashboards, risk and decisions logs, and schedules
  3. Identifying and escalating risks for flawless and on-time delivery of programs
  4. Owning the communication and reporting to a range of stakeholders, adapting to their required level of knowledge and involvement in the program through exceptional stakeholder management
  5. Leading and driving solutions through cross-functional teams; keeping members focused on the overall goal and the role they play in achieving it
  6. Managing day-to-day program activities including tracking milestones, decisions, and deliverables
  7. Mitigating risk by understanding outcomes and working closely with stakeholders to escalate and manage breakdowns
  8. Identifying and implementing improvements to work processes and program management practices as part of the delivery community of practice
  9. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across Canada and the enterprise

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training
  2. 5-7 years of experience in delivering projects, preferably in a financial-services setting
  3. Experience working in agile, lean, SAFe environments
  4. Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong Excel, JIRA and Confluence skills; good familiarity with project management tools
  2. PMP or similar certification is a plus
  3. CSPO or similar certification is a plus
  4. Prosci Adkar or other change management certification is a plus
  5. Proficient with reporting tools, such as Google Sheets and Tableau
