Job description

Our client, a multi-service, client-centred family services agency, is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join their team as the Manager of a Day Treatment Centre. This role oversees the full operation of a specialized treatment program designed for adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural, academic, and/or social challenges. The program is delivered in partnership with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and integrates therapeutic, educational, and case management services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete client service cycle: intake, assessment, placement, treatment, discharge, and follow-up.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical and educational programming to ensure high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing the tools, guidance, and performance management needed to deliver effective services.
  • Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with the TDSB and other community partners.
  • Promote a safe, well-maintained, and service-oriented environment.
  • Represent the agency in cross-functional initiatives and management forums.
  • Ensure team alignment with agency mission, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
What You Bring:
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
  • Deep experience in working with adolescents facing complex behavioural and emotional challenges, including day treatment program delivery.
  • Familiarity with educational partnerships, particularly with the TDSB or other school boards.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
