The Data Platform Management team is seeking a Manager, Data Platforms Risk & Audit Management. This role leads risk management and audit remediation activities, working with the Data Office, technology partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between data platform strategies and audit commitments. The manager will also design and execute a risk and audit management program, including defining and implementing a Data Risk and Control Framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing a risk and audit issues management framework.
  2. Tracking and ensuring timely remediation of risks and audit issues.
  3. Coordinating issue remediation activities and engaging stakeholders.
  4. Providing expertise and acting as the primary contact for risk and audit activities.
  5. Maintaining risk and audit documentation and tools.
  6. Managing follow-ups on audit findings to ensure compliance.
  7. Assessing risks, identifying controls, and documenting mitigation plans.
  8. Ensuring data platform roadmaps align with audit commitments.
  9. Supporting Issue Owners in defining Management Action Plans.
  10. Communicating issues to leadership and providing strategic insights.
  11. Collaborating across teams to standardize risk practices.
  12. Auditing design and effectiveness of data controls frameworks.
  13. Managing relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  14. Handling large projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
  15. Performing risk and controls assessments independently.
  16. Facilitating meetings, delivering presentations, and communicating effectively.

Qualifications include leadership skills, knowledge of training methodologies, excellent communication, project management experience, and relevant certifications such as CBAP. A degree in Business Administration or related field, with 3-5 years experience in financial services, is preferred. Knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, JIRA/Confluence is also advantageous.
