Job description

See what you can do with Prophix

At Prophix, we’re building the platform that helps finance teams stop managing spreadsheets and start driving strategy. Prophix One™ brings planning, reporting, consolidation, and automation together in a single place, and we are expanding its AI capabilities faster than ever. If you want to work on a product that genuinely changes how finance teams operate, and do it alongside people who care about getting it right, this is where you want to be.

We’re headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area, with teams and offices across North America, Europe, and Australia. Trusted by more than 3,000 finance teams across 100+ countries, Prophix One™ is built for organisations that want to plan smarter and move faster.

As the Manager, Data Integration, you lead the team responsible for connecting customer source systems to Prophix's software. You own the integration function within Professional Services end-to-end: setting quality and code ownership standards, managing a team of Integration Consultants and Engineers, and building the repeatable processes and KPIs that keep projects closing quickly and customers set up to renew. You work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to surface integration challenges early and keep the function scaling effectively.

What You Will Do
Technical Leadership and Standards
  • Own the integration function's technical direction, setting standards for how integrations are built, maintained, and handed off, with direct accountability for code ownership across the team's work
  • Maintain working knowledge of the JavaScript used in DI Studio integration projects so you can read, troubleshoot, and support the team's code and step in on complex technical problems
  • Set direction for how the team uses AI coding tools (including Claude Code and Codex) to improve speed and quality, guiding adoption and reviewing output as a technical leader rather than a primary developer
  • Own the defect lifecycle using a defect-tracking system (Jira) and SDLC practices, covering triage, prioritization, and resolution
  • Ensure methods and best practices are documented and repeatable, and build the certification process for new engineers, consultants, and partners
Integration Delivery and Maintenance
  • Lead delivery of ETL solutions that connect customer source systems to Prophix, covering data imports, data transformations, and data modeling end-to-end
  • Own integration maintenance after go-live: monitor, troubleshoot, and adapt integrations as source systems and Prophix's platform evolve
  • Step in hands-on for selective customer projects where your technical depth is required or to support the team during high-demand periods
Team Management and Scaling
  • Lead and scale a team of 6+ Integration Consultants and Engineers, allocating resources across projects to match shifting demand
  • Drive the team's results against clear KPIs covering speed, quality, and renewal readiness
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Sales Support
  • Meet weekly with Product and Engineering to flag integration challenges, surface bugs, and advocate for product changes that make integration easier
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to the sales process so prospective customers understand and feel prepared for Prophix's implementation approach
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success to identify renewal-risk signals early
What You Will Bring

We hire for potential as much as experience. If this role excites you but you don’t check every box, we still want to hear from you. At Prophix, people who ask good questions, adapt quickly, and bring a fresh perspective often make the biggest impact.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years leading technical teams that both build and maintain software integrations, with direct accountability for code ownership and ongoing software management after go-live, not a one-time delivery model
  • Experience implementing ETL solutions as part of a software vendor, connecting customer source systems through data imports, data transformations, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and data automation in an integration context
  • Hands-on experience connecting systems through Cloud APIs, with knowledge of middleware platforms such as SnapLogic, Boomi, or MuleSoft
  • Working knowledge of common ERP systems, including familiarity with key tables and data structures
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript sufficient to read, troubleshoot, and support integration code written by your team (Prophix's DI Studio projects are executed in JavaScript)
  • Experience directing a team's use of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code or Codex) to guide and accelerate output, in a technical leadership capacity
  • Experience managing a defect and bug-tracking process using a tool such as Jira, with familiarity with SDLC practices for triage, prioritization, and resolution
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Must be able to travel internationally, and hold a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comfortable using AI tools responsibly
  • Able to learn new tools and adapt as technology and workflows evolve.
  • Curious, open to new approaches, and motivated to continuously improve.
  • Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI supported tooling.
  • Experience scaling a technical function using KPIs, balancing speed, quality, and cost to drive measurable outcomes
  • Track record of partnering directly with Product and Engineering leadership to influence roadmap decisions based on field and integration realities
  • Approach to customer engagements that prioritizes simplicity: advising customers on how to reduce complexity between systems rather than defaulting to technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues, customers, and prospects
Why Join Prophix?

Compensation

The total target compensation for this role is $140,000 CAD to $160,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.

What’s Included for You?
