Job Description:Department OverviewThe Enterprise Stress Testing group (EST) is responsible for managing the Bank's stress testing and ad-hoc stress analysis programs and supporting the Climate Stress Analysis (CSA) program. EST is responsible for developing scenarios used by the Enterprise and Subsidiaries used in support of Internal and Regulatory Capital Adequacy Assessment Processes. EST also manages the execution of Balance Sheet and Income Statement methodologies and projections and reporting Enterprise Stress results to senior executive, Board committees and regulators.
Job Description / Accountabilities- Responsible for overseeing Aggregation Strategy, Process and System Architecture
- Responsible for overseeing the aggregation system logic and validation controls
- Responsible for identification of enhancement opportunities and develop required data and system changes to meet regulatory changes and requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring controls are operating effectively and data integrity is complete and accurate and compliance with Data standards
- Responsible for monitoring effectiveness of aggregation and controls executed by the technology team (MLE)
- Lead co-ordination with dependent workstreams and stakeholders including data and technology, ensuring new requirements are effectively tested and implemented and resolution of issues.
- Completion of and submission of Regulatory Template Submissions
Qualifications:- University degree in Finance, Advanced quantitative discipline, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- CPA, MBA, CFA, or other professional designations, preferred
- 3-5 years in data processing, data project, or stress testing
- Working experience with M4, P3, BCAR, preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in VBA, SAS, SQL Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Minimum 3 years of Bank, trading or treasury, technology related experience with progressing levels of operational and/or team management responsibility
- Knowledge of Stress Testing, capital markets, asset/liability management principles and banking products
- Knowledge of the Bank's financial and management reporting infrastructure (Hyperion) and strong accounting background would be an asset
- A solid business acumen and understanding of the Bank's exposures, concentrations, vulnerabilities and risks.
