Responsibilities

• Lead complex data architecture BI and integration projects from strategic planning through execution.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders to understand and shape enterprise data needs and flows.
• Lead discovery efforts to understand data usage and consumption mapping systems and platforms across the enterprise.
• Develop data integration and visualization strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide strategic recommendations for managing structured / unstructured data using modern tools and best practices.
• Guide project teams and junior consultants in delivering to quality standards.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions that balance governance performance and usability.
• Build trusted advisor relationships by delivering insights through compelling presentations and reports.
• Support business development through proposal creation scoping and client pitches.
• Provide day-to-day direction coaching and mentoring to project teams. You will also be responsible for career management professional development and supporting employees through Optimus SBRs Career Development Program (CDP).
• Contribute to the life and culture of Optimus SBR.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive experience in data strategy BI and analytics domains.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise data and BI solutions including ETL / ELT pipelines data warehousing and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with both cloud and on-prem data ecosystems.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI Tableau and Erwin Data Modeler with understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Experience across multiple data domains including engineering governance architecture and analytics.
• Previous management consulting or client-facing experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal written and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical content for executive and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated agile and entrepreneurial with strong initiative.
• Project management experience or familiarity with Agile / Waterfall methodologies is an asset.

• Related University Degree (e.g. Computer Science, B. Comp, Bachelor of Computer Science)
• Post-Graduate degree (e.g. MBA) PMP or additional professional designation
