Manager, Customer Growth - Mastercard Move

The NAM Mastercard Move Partnerships team develops and maintains relationships with major merchants, fintechs, acquirers, and banks in the U.S. to support their money movement needs. We bring innovative products and solutions to enhance their money movement offerings with card and non-card capabilities.

We seek an experienced business development and sales expert to help win new business, sign new partners, and grow existing accounts through solutions, upselling, cross-selling, and incentivizing volume growth. This role offers a chance to drive significant revenue and transform customer engagement.

Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain relationships with key customers across the Mastercard Move portfolio in Canada.
  • Engage regularly to identify opportunities for growth via pipeline development, new use cases, new corridors/markets, repricing, cross-selling other Mastercard services, and recommending best practices.
  • Partner with regional teams to identify revenue opportunities, deliver proposals, and growth plans.
  • Create and share best practices materials with customers.
  • Support key client communications for managed accounts.
  • Inform product roadmaps by sharing customer feedback and growth inhibitors.
  • Serve as the initial contact for discussions on new use cases, pricing, partnership terms, volume growth, and optimization.

All About You:

  • Experience in domestic or cross-border money movement at banks, FIs, or fintechs.
  • Strong understanding of the global and domestic payments ecosystem.
  • Experience managing complex payments products/services to financial institutions or fintechs.
  • Experience working with Treasury Services, Transaction Banking, or Commercial Banking.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and negotiations.
  • Ability to lead technical and business conversations.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, trust-building, and customer understanding.
  • Knowledge of payments at service providers, users, or networks.
  • Effective communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Value-based selling and solutions development skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Some travel required.
