As Manager, Culture & Inclusion, you'll be a key architect in building a truly inclusive workplace where every voice is heard, valued, and empowered. You'll lead and inspire a network of colleague resource groups and leaders, fostering a culture of belonging that fuels innovation and drives business success. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Culture & Inclusion, you'll be supported by a dedicated team of DEI practitioners, an engaged executive Culture & Inclusion Council, and passionate HR and business leaders, all committed to making Loblaw a leader in diversity and inclusion.

What will you do?
  1. Support four main colleague resource groups to ensure their plans are aligned with enterprise Culture & Inclusion strategies and encompass our large matrixed organization including stores, DCs, and corporate groups.

  2. Act as a thought partner and strategic thinker to support colleague resource group leaders, executives, and volunteers.

  3. Understand standard processes and external and competitor market trends in culture and DEI and how they could translate to impactful initiatives for our business.

  4. Manage, promote, and evolve external Culture & Inclusion partnerships and community investment grants.

  5. Build effective communication plans to promote, excite, and engage teams as we launch our Culture & Inclusion initiatives.

What experience and skills do you need for this role?
  • Experience managing DEI in the private and/or public sector and/or as a consultant (i.e., managing DEI councils, committee-driven events, communication, partnerships, and working with self-identification data).

  • Positive relationship management, collaboration, and consulting skills combined with the ability to influence executives and other business leaders.

  • Creative and strategic mindset.

  • Confidence collaborating with different working styles, and colleagues at all levels in the organization.

  • Proven ability to think critically, resolve conflict, and solve problems.

  • People-centric, empathetic, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • A good public speaker, writer, and storyteller.
