What You Will Do :

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a team managing credit collections, accounts receivable, and rebate / commission processes. You will collaborate across departments to improve processes, support business goals, and ensure robust financial operations.

Responsibilities include :

  • Leading credit and collection processes to enhance cash flow and minimize bad debt.
  • Monitoring customer accounts, assessing credit risks, and negotiating payment terms.
  • Reviewing banking activities and validating incoming payments.
  • Collaborating to resolve issues and ensure credit policy compliance.
  • Overseeing invoicing, payment processing, and month-end reconciliations.
  • Managing rebate and commission programs, including tracking, calculation, and disbursement.
  • Leading process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Coaching and developing team members to meet performance goals.
  • Using data and industry trends for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit, collections, or related finance roles.
  • At least 3 years managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and customer adjustments.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., J.D. Edwards).
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Assets :

  • CPA or relevant finance / accounting education.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution sectors.
  • Knowledge of pricing, reconciliations, and rebates.
  • Proven success in process improvement and automation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
