This role is a key part of the CCR group, responsible for providing risk oversight on counterparty credit risk arising from derivatives and securities financing transactions executed by the bank's global capital markets businesses.

The CCR group is a centralized function that identifies signs of credit deterioration, measures, monitors, and reports various metrics related to counterparty credit risk, and escalates issues when exposures exceed risk appetite. The group also stays updated on industry best practices and regulatory expectations.

  1. Monitor exposure of counterparty credit risk in securities financing, OTC derivatives, and FX transactions.
  2. Contribute to processes identifying emerging risks and support risk analysis.
  3. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty risk, including correlation risks like wrong-way risk, collateral credit quality, concentration, and liquidity risks.
  4. Develop relationships and communicate regularly with Management, Credit, Banking, Front Office, and other stakeholders on CCR matters.
  5. Support the development of reporting systems and business intelligence tools.
  6. Assist in preparing Board, regulatory, and other CCR reports.
Do you have the skills to succeed? We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in market or credit risk of traded products.
  2. Knowledge of derivatives and familiarity with counterparty credit risk.
  3. Strong communication skills; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  4. A university degree in a business-related field; CFA/FRM/PRM certifications are desirable.
  5. Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Python, SQL, and Unix is an asset.
What’s in it for you?
  • An inclusive, collaborative environment that values curiosity, ownership, and celebrates success.
  • Diverse opportunities for professional development and internal training.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • A competitive rewards package including salary, performance bonus, pension and profit sharing, paid vacation, personal & sick days, and comprehensive benefits from day one.
