We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Deliverables in our Human Resources Department to join our Team!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Executive Director, People, this strategic leadership position is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, tracking, coordination and management of key operations department workplans, processes, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and related activities to support and ensure the team meets the individual Executive Director’s deliverables and priorities. The work includes ensuring timely reporting to the Board and executive committees on the status of various strategic initiatives, critical programs, key performance measures and other priorities within the operating group. Ensuring consultant engagements support workplans, strategic initiatives, critical programs and tracking department workplans, key performance measures, preparing briefing notes, board reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

As Manager Corporate Deliverables, you are responsible for the coordination and operation of various operational initiatives and meetings including action list developments, tracking decision making processes, strategic planning development and ensuring participants meet individual Executive Director expectations on deliverables. You will work closely with various Department Heads to ensure coordination on deliverables in accordance with Executive Director priorities and workplans. You will be responsible for delivering on special initiatives as part of the five-year TTC Corporate Plan, for monitoring and overseeing performance improvement with an innovative and forward-thinking approach. The position takes a strategic and integrated approach to corporate initiatives that align with the TTC’s corporate plan and CEO priorities.

Key Objectives:

  • Development and Updates: Lead the creation and revision of annual workplans.
  • Business Analysis: Assist in analyzing business needs to justify new initiatives.
  • Report Management: Review and edit reports for final submission.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on deliverables outlined in workplans, critical programs, the TTC Corporate Plan, and CEO priorities.
  • Project Integration: Ensure timely and well-integrated delivery of key corporate initiatives, projects, programs, processes, and policies.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work collaboratively with the Executive Team and senior management to ensure deliverables are on target, completed on schedule, and within budget.
  • Board Report Management: Manage Board report agendas and ensure timely delivery of reports, including reviewing and editing for accuracy and effective communication to the Board.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Your education will include completion of a university degree or college diploma in a related discipline (i.e., Business/Public Administration) or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent which is integral and will contribute to success in this role.
  • Your application will demonstrate thorough knowledge of business development, with advanced strategic planning and project/program management skills and experience to implement corporate level initiatives.
  • Advanced leadership and facilitation skills, with extensive experience motivating, directing and influencing individuals across multiple operational and business areas is required.
  • Your application will also demonstrate your ability to work with senior management/executive on complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills is required.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders for the purpose of meeting corporate objectives is essential.
