This position is a fixed-term contract through 3/31/2026.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Applying expertise in calculation, analysis, and reporting of financial results in compliance with standards and regulations.
  2. Delivering accounting program/process results aligned with group goals.
  3. Reviewing and delivering accounting services and processing activities.
  4. Supporting efficient accounting functions that reduce costs and improve service levels.
  5. Executing timely, accurate financial reporting for management and statutory purposes.
  6. Contributing to financial program planning and implementation for fiscal close processes.
  7. Ensuring sign-off and attestation of reported financial results.
  8. Analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance.
  9. Monitoring compliance with standards and regulations.
  10. Supporting internal and external audits.
  11. Integrating information sources for improved processes and reporting.
  12. Designing and producing reports and dashboards.
  13. Building relationships with stakeholders and acting as a liaison.
  14. Supporting strategic initiatives related to accounting, risk, and regulation.
  15. Liaising with auditors and regulators.
  16. Interpreting accounting changes and assessing impacts on reporting.
  17. Participating in designing and managing financial processes and controls.
  18. Providing specialized support and exercising judgment in problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Professional accounting designation preferred.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.

Salary range: $74,800 - $138,600, salaried, with potential bonuses and benefits.
