ALUS Canada is seeking a Manager for Community Engagement and Communications. This permanent, full-time position involves fostering relationships with communities across Canada, managing communications, and leading social media strategies. The ideal candidate is bilingual, has significant experience in community engagement, and is passionate about environmental sustainability.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, you will be responsible for proactively supporting ALUS communities across the country with their communications needs and initiatives. You will cultivate relationships with ALUS communities and work with Hub Managers and Coordinators to support the creation of strategic communications plans, engaging communications tactics and events. You will also be responsible for growing ALUS’ social media audience and engagement.
You will occasionally work with different project teams within ALUS as needed. ALUS is an agile organization that relies on everyone’s ability to respond to multiple priorities on an ongoing basis and wants to provide internal professional development opportunities.
