The Manager will provide operational management and co‑ordination of assigned clinical areas. S/he is also responsible for the implementation of operational and strategic objectives. The Manager will, together with the Director, and the Community Based Division Head, manage the functioning of services within the MH Program Community Based Division. Working with the Medical Leads, Clinical Leans and PPLs, s/he will directly supervise and facilitate development of staff within assigned areas, and oversee the establishment of a strong cohesive team. Working with the Director and the Leadership team, s/he will contribute to program planning and implementation, quality improvement initiatives and will promote an environment of creativity and innovation in the delivery of services. S/he may be responsible for management of off‑site services.
Effective March 29, 2021, CHEO will conduct a more comprehensive pre‑screening and evaluation process. This process may include more varied and multidimensional testing such as a written test, practical exam, or other assessment. All candidates who meet the essential and preferred qualifications may be tested.
Bilingualism (French/English) will be validated by a language proficiency assessment conducted by a third party provider. Candidates will be required to meet the minimum linguistic profile prior to the date of hire.
