The Office of University Relations at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for the position of Manager, Communications and Marketing.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Manager provides strategic advice to build and protect the university's reputation and brand. The role oversees various strategies including student recruitment, digital presence (website and social media), and brand development. It involves storytelling, creative asset development, and ensuring communications are accessible and inclusive, applying an EDIA lens across all channels. The position requires managing deadlines and navigating complex stakeholder environments, with a focus on current trends and target audience shifts.
What you'll need
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in public relations, communications, or marketing, along with at least five years of related experience in marketing communications, social media, and project management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, a team leader, and an independent thinker with experience in online marketing and social media. Strong writing, editing, project management, and budget skills are required. Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and work with agency partners is important. Experience managing projects and staff is necessary, as the role includes direct supervision.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and social media platforms is expected. Experience with website content management systems, Google Analytics, and KPI reporting is a plus.
You should be adept at managing multiple requests, collaborating with stakeholders, and committed to continuous improvement and results orientation.
Classification : Full-Time MPA Level 5 Position
Salary : $69,647 per annum, with step progression to $84,736
