Together with our partners, approximately 2,100 GTAA employees are working to create a next-generation airport by innovating in all we do and striving for the most uplifting, safe and efficient experience for our passengers – all while championing the prosperity of our people, the community we call home, and our aviation partners. Join us on our journey together, as we put the joy back into travel and make Toronto Pearson the chosen place to fly and work.

What's in it for you?
  • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals dedicated to their work and community.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including a flexible retirement program with employer matching, along with voluntary savings options (RRSP, TFSA, and Non-Registered Savings Plans).
  • A flexible hybrid work environment, continuous internal and external learning opportunities, and a meaningful reward and recognition program.
What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Groundside Transportation Business Planning & Performance, the Manager, Commercial Partnerships and Contract Management is accountable for leading commercial performance, contract management, and business development across Toronto Pearson’s ground transportation portfolio, including rental cars, transportation network companies (TNCs), taxis, limousines, and emerging mobility services. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing P&L performance, and advancing strategic partnerships that enhance both commercial outcomes and passenger experience. You will independently identify and assess opportunities, build data-driven recommendations, develop business cases, negotiate and structure existing and new commercial agreements, and secure internal support for recommendations. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, and external partners, you will ensure commercial initiatives are executable, operationally feasible, customer-centric, and aligned with regulatory and infrastructure considerations.

As a Manager, Commercial Partnerships and Contract Management, you will:
  • Lead commercial strategy and business planning for the ground transportation portfolio, proactively identify opportunities and uncover stakeholder needs to advance revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute business development and partnership opportunities, applying strong commercial acumen to evaluate market potential, stakeholder needs, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Take ownership of complex commercial contracts from business case development through execution, including negotiations, RFP/RFQ processes, and the development of commercial and operating terms that maximize value and operational feasibility.
  • Own P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor and drive partner performance, ensuring alignment with commercial, financial, and customer experience objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align commercial strategies with operational realities, regulatory requirements, and infrastructure constraints.
  • Independently build analytical and financial models, interpret market and performance data, and translate findings into clear insights, recommendations, and robust business cases.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement by challenging current approaches, introducing new ideas, and carrying initiatives through to measurable execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners, government stakeholders, and industry participants through development and execution of robust governance models.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative and accountable culture.
  • Present business cases, commercial recommendations, performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leaders and executive audiences with concise, consultative, and compelling verbal communication, without relying heavily on slide content.
This is the role for you, if you have:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial management, contract management, business development, finance, or revenue/performance-focused roles. Experience in contract management, partnerships, transportation, or regulated environments (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ambition, drive, curiosity, and learning agility, with the ability to quickly build knowledge, take ownership, and grow into broader accountabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience owning commercial agreements and business cases, including financial evaluation, commercial and operating terms, internal approvals, negotiations, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience independently building analytical or financial models and translating complex data into salient insights, actionable recommendations, and business strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business strategies.
  • Experience working in customer-centric, service-oriented environments.
  • A track record of moving from strategy and analysis to practical execution, with accountability for delivering outcomes and improving how work is done.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, consult, and present compelling recommendations across a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • A strong financial foundation and experience with business intelligence tools, financial modeling, or data-driven decision-making frameworks are considered assets.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, financial modeling, or data-driven decision-making frameworks is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
