Position: Commercial Operations Manager

The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for aligning revenue-generating teams across the full client lifecycle to drive growth, operational clarity, and efficiency. This role provides leadership and guidance to the Commercial Operations team to support and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of Sales and Marketing teams. Key responsibilities include owning the forecast, sales modeling, compensation plan, territory alignment, margin analysis, and pipeline health.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and improve a Sales and Revenue Operations model to support company growth.
  2. Ensure the CRM is accurate, optimized, and regularly updated for pipeline reporting, customer data, and forecast modeling.
  3. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize systems and processes for customer-facing teams.
  4. Design, implement, and scale revenue-generating processes using data and technology to streamline workflows and improve sales velocity.
  5. Lead a team of Analysts, SF Admin, and Sales Operations supporting sales, marketing, and revenue tools.
  6. Hire, train, and coach team members for continuous growth and development.
  7. Oversee the deal desk, establishing standardized processes for deal review, pricing, discounts, and margins, collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams.
  8. Design and implement processes and tools for effective sales planning and forecasting.
  9. Collaborate with finance on sales and commission forecasts.
  10. Lead strategy for goal setting through tools for market segmentation, quota setting, and account planning.
  11. Support sales reps with strategic guidance, enterprise deals, and pricing strategies.
  12. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to improve pre- and post-sales processes.
  13. Develop dashboards and communicate commercial team metrics.
  14. Ensure top-of-funnel activities are tracked and data integrity is maintained.
  15. Drive operational metrics such as quota attainment, pipeline growth, and stage conversion rates.
  16. Use business knowledge to improve processes and analyze data for strategic insights.
  17. Align initiatives with data-backed revenue growth.
Requirements:
  1. 6-7+ years in revenue, sales, or business operations.
  2. 2+ years in a leadership role in sales or revenue operations.
  3. Proven ability to promote revenue growth.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, trend analysis, territory and quota development.
  5. Ability to develop and analyze KPIs and turn insights into strategies.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly.
  7. Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  8. Deep knowledge of CRM systems, especially Salesforce, HubSpot, Netsuite.
  9. Experience with BI tools like Tableau or CRM Analytics.
  10. Advanced Excel skills.
