KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Cloud Monitoring and Compliance Engineer to join our Global Technology & Knowledge Group which is part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze requests associated with the Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) Product alerts related to Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) from impacted internal clients.
  • Customize and enhance CSPM and CWP Cloud features to meet KPMG specific requirements.
  • Plan implementation of automated remediation activities.
  • Liaise with vendors to fully realize investment into their products and influence future roadmaps.
  • Onboard additional tenants and cloud hosting providers to the service.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in information technology (IT); minimum two years of recent experience working with a major cloud service provider.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent work experience, preferably in computer science or a related field.
  • Robust technical and implementation knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management technologies (Microsoft MDC, Twistlock, Redlock).
  • Experience in securing cloud environments and cloud systems, including topics around certification and compliance.
  • Good understanding of API-based security and compliance standards; knowledge of exploits, malware, ransomware, and detection methods; experience building complex custom RQL, KQL, or SQL queries.
  • Background with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP installation, configuration, and administration of security features and services; programming experience with Python or PowerShell.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

KPMG complies with all local / state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The salary range for this position in California is $101,200 - $215,100. Our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.
